Tebas Land

Inspired by Oedipus, the lives of a playwright and a man imprisoned for his father’s murder intersect.

Event Details

Presented by Arca Images

Internationally renowned Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco’s recent work, “Tebas Land”, will return to Miami later this year at Westchester Cultural Arts Center.

Presented in partnership with WCAC in the original Spanish, with simultaneous English translation. The play is inspired by the famous Greek Oedipus patricidal myth. It tells the story of a contemporary man accused of killing his own father, and his changing relationship with a writer who wants to create his own play-within-a-play about the murder.
