Event Details

Tres guitar player Jose Elias brings together an ensemble that performs timeless Cuban classics and some originals composed in a grass-roots style. Buena Vista Social Club meets the Miami sound in Cortadito.


A professional musician for the past 28 years, Jose Elias has produced a variety of musical projects from festivals to studio recordings. He has worked with critically acclaimed bands such as Conjunto Progreso and Spam Allstars, and regularly performs with his own group, Cortadito. He is also a gifted guitarist/tres player. For more than 20 years, Elias has produced one of Miami’s longest running music festivals, the Afro Roots Fest, which the Miami New Times has called one of "South Florida’s Ten Best Music Festivals."

Saturday - Monday: CLOSED*

* On days with scheduled performances, the Phone line opens at noon and the Box Office sales and will call window will open 1 hour prior to curtain. Box office closes 15 minutes after curtain.
